Description

KTA (Potassium Titanyl Arsenate, KTiOAsO₄) is a high-performance nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal widely used in frequency conversion, optical parametric oscillation (OPO), electro-optic modulation, and mid-infrared laser generation. Compared with KTP crystals, KTA offers lower absorption in the 2–5 μm region, higher resistance to gray tracking, and superior performance in high-energy laser systems.

KTA crystals are especially suitable for mid-IR OPO systems, Nd:YAG laser frequency conversion, and electro-optic devices due to their excellent nonlinear coefficients, wide transparency range, and high optical damage threshold.
